The model MFT is a portable pipe machining tool that offers an exceptional power-to-weight ratio. A 14" O.D. pipe can be quickly and accurately milled with a single operator. The centershaft can be removed from the power unit and locked into the pipe which centers the tool and removes all torque from the operator. The power unit, weighing only 31 lbs.
(14.1 kgs.), is then installed on the centershaft ready to put a clean inside or outside bevel, square an uneven end cut or any of a variety of standard and custom machining jobs. A quality flange facing attachment is also available adding versatility to this reliable tool. The flange facer will reach out to recondition flanges and bolt hole patterns as large as 20" (508 mm) O.D.
MFT flange facing attachment adapts the reliable beveling machining to recondition flanges and bolt patterns up to 20" (508 mm) O.D.
Go to the flange facing page for more details.
I.D. clamping pads are available in a wide range of sizes to provide secure locking in pipes with thinner walls without creating distortions.
