Up to 30" (762 mm) O.D. That is what this rugged, reliable pneumatic pipe machine will bevel, face and/or counterbore. The MFTHD pipe machine is the largest center-locking tool we make which both aligns and locks the tool for maximum accuracy and safety. Accurate J-preps are also possible even on these larger pipes with out I.D. tracking attachment. The I.D. tracker follows the wall during machining to overcome egg-shaped materials on large diameter pipe.
Even with the power and size of the MFTHD pipe machine, the unit is completely portable. The power unit can be separated from the center shaft reducing the heaviest lift to only 200 lbs. (91 kgs.) - easily handled in the field with a small hoist.
